Meet the Owner
Clara has been proofreading since fall 2022, when she quit her real estate career of 8 years to pursue her dreams of freelancing. In 2022, Clara earned a bachelor’s degree in English at University of Colorado Denver and made the dean’s list summer semester 2020, fall semester 2021, spring semester 2022 and summer semester 2022. Though she still has availability for plenty of new work, copyediting for the Phelps County Focus and the Pulaski County Weekly and proofreading transcripts for 12 court reporters occupies her time.
Clara lives in central Missouri with her dog, Millie. In her spare time, she relishes reading fiction, playing violin and piano, and staying caffeinated. What Clara enjoys most about freelancing is the flexibility it provides to travel and spend more time with her loved ones.
